Kite & Sol Beach House is run by an English-Brazilian couple with a long-standing passion for watersports and beach destinations. After living in southern Spain for 15 years and learning to kitesurf in Tarifa, they discovered Taiba more than a decade ago and returned year after year.
Eventually, they took over and refurbished the same beach house where they had stayed during their first visits to Taiba. Their aim was to create a welcoming place where riders can stay close to the water, meet other watersports enthusiasts and make the most of the conditions Taiba has to offer.
The hosts speak English, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian, making the house particularly accessible to international visitors.
Beachfront accommodation in Taiba
Kite & Sol Beach House has five bedrooms and four bathrooms and can accommodate groups of up to 12 people. Guests can rent the house for families and groups, while rooms can also be arranged for couples and individual travelers.
Facilities include a private swimming pool, chill-out terrace, gardens, kitchen and laundry facilities. Most importantly for anyone travelling to Brazil for the water, the property is beachfront: walk out of the house and you are directly by the sand and ocean.
Taiba is known for its wind and waves, with Kite & Sol highlighting the period from July through January as its main wind and wave season.
More than just accommodation
One of the advantages of staying at Kite & Sol is the range of watersports services that can be arranged during your stay.
The house works together with local watersports specialist Kitepirinha, and services include lessons, kite and board rental, equipment repairs and custom boards.
Guests can also arrange kite trips and downwinders to explore different spots along the coastline. For those who want to see more of Ceará away from the water, tourist trips, buggy rentals and escorted tours are also available.
