Flat water but can be shallow. Intercoastal waterway on North Padre Island and has Worldwinds shop. Windsurf, windfoil and now wingfoil. Side offshore is common in the spring with an incredible transient and local sailors. Friendly and passionate crew. Best slot is early April through about mid May. Primitive camping and a bird sanctuary. No kits at this location but some good spots near.

April to early May is best with not unusual to be on 4 and 3 meter. Foiling will probably want a 70ish cm mast. Fall can also be good but less consistent.
