Where to stay
Riumar is a small settlement that was built in the 60’s as a point of national cultural interest, because of its privileged location and surroundings. The beach, river, nature, peace and tranquility combined with nautical sport options gives it a real charm.
There are two places to stay close by in the area. Both of them are small businesses with a very authentic feeling. The cool thing about staying in the town of Riumar is that you can enjoy the peace, quite and beauty of the area for the rest of the day. There are beach bars and a couple of restaurants, mainly open in summer.
- Apartamentos Las Dunas-B is 1,3 kilometers from the spot, a very local place, and gets good reviews from guests. It has a swimming pool.
- Hostal Restaurant Paca is 1,5 km from the spot, also a very local place, and also appreciated by people.
- Consider looking for a hotel in the town of Deltebre next to the Ebro river if you want a bit more dynamic around you. It’s a 15 minutes drive to the spot.
- Or, consider a hotel in the coastal town of L’Ampolla across the bay, which is a 30 minutes drive from the spot.
Bahía del Fangar
In the red-marked area, you cannot ride. The water is not deep enough and there is a lot of fishery equipment set in the water. Avoid this area.
