Caminha is a beautiful town in northern Portugal, is steadily gaining recognition as a fantastic spot for wingfoiling. It’s located at the mouth of the Minho River, where it meets the Atlantic Ocean. Winfoil Caminha offers a unique mix of river and ocean conditions, making it an ideal destination to ride. Very very nice spot in the north of Portugal, about an hour driving from Porto. Great place for wingfoiling beginners and advanced riders as well.

In winter you have a stronger presence of south-southwesterly winds, in summer there is more notable winds from the so called Nortada. It brings an offshore wind in the morning and a sea breeze in the afternoon.
