Very good spot for wingfoiling inshore in Portugal. The lagoon is very large so you can have long sessions, however, the water is mostly flat protected. That’s why it’s also a good spot for learning to wingfoil. The surroundings are stunning. If you fall, take a moment to look around you and absorb the beauty of the Portuguese landscape that surrounds you.
During most of the summer, the Nortada wind is blowing which gives the spot a stable wind coming from the north-west. This combines with the tunnel effect you find at the spot, making it a very consistent wingfoil location.
